5 Ways Casinos Can Use a Digital Prize Wheel

Give casino guests more ways to join in, from promotional prizes and hospitality perks to themed games. Plan prize frequency and switch between saved wheels for each occasion.

A prize giveaway at the promotions desk. A dining surprise at check-in. A quick game before the evening show. Casinos and casino hotels have plenty of places where one spin can give guests a reason to stop, join in, and discover something new.

With iPrizeWheel, your team can build different wheels for different experiences on an iPhone or iPad. Two features make that especially useful for a busy property: prize-weight controls for planning how often rewards appear, and multiple saved campaigns so you can switch from one promotion or game to another.

1. Build a promotional prize wheel

Create a host-led giveaway with a mix of rewards your property can fulfill: branded merchandise, coffee vouchers, dining discounts, gift-shop offers, or a featured experience. Give the wheel a clear theme, such as “Weekend Welcome” or “Anniversary Spin,” and show guests exactly what each prize includes.

For a cash-prize promotion approved by your venue, cash amounts could become the wheel labels, as shown in the demo. Set the participation and redemption rules before running it.

The prize mix can change with the occasion. A small welcome giveaway might focus on everyday perks, while a special event could include a limited number of larger rewards. Prize weights, available starting with Gold, let you set different frequencies for different prizes rather than treating every panel alike.

2. Turn hospitality into an experience

A check-in or concierge wheel could offer a dessert voucher, a coffee treat, or another approved welcome perk. A separate “Explore the Property” wheel could suggest a restaurant, show, photo spot, or lounge to visit. One wheel awards a benefit; the other helps guests decide what to do next.

Keep the labels short and have a host explain the details. Check availability, redemption windows, and any restrictions before putting a perk on the wheel.

3. Add gaming-themed guest entertainment

Bring the atmosphere of the casino into a free, host-led activity. A wheel could choose a casino-history trivia category, a card-themed challenge, or the next round of a stage game. At a tournament reception, it could select an icebreaker or an entertainment challenge between scheduled activities.

Build each format as its own campaign so the host can move from trivia to a prize round without rebuilding the wheel. These are ideas for promotional entertainment; iPrizeWheel is novelty software and is not presented as a certified wagering system.

4. Give VIP and special-occasion events their own wheel

A birthday celebration, hosted reception, or loyalty appreciation event could have a wheel tailored to that audience. Think welcome gifts, dining perks, or property merchandise, with the available rewards and participation details approved in advance.

Save separate versions for different occasions. Your team can return to a familiar setup for the next event, update the prizes, and check the settings before guests arrive.

5. Keep seasonal promotions fresh

A holiday weekend, concert night, sporting-event watch party, or property anniversary can each have its own look and prize mix. Use the wheel to pick a trivia topic, reveal a giveaway reward, or choose a guest participation challenge. Screen mirroring to a compatible external display can help a hosted activity become part of the room.

Control prize frequency with Gold

For a promotion with rewards of different values, the ability to adjust how often each prize appears is a useful planning tool. Gold introduces the P(x) prize-weight feature. The iPrizeWheel FAQ describes it as setting each panel’s allocation within a 100-spin cycle, with all weights totaling 100. Editing those weights resets the cycle.

Use that control to make an everyday perk more frequent and a featured reward less frequent. Test the campaign before launch, keep a separate record of available prizes, and make sure the promotion’s stated terms match its setup. Prize weighting should not be treated as a guarantee of inventory or payouts; the FAQ cautions that high-value giveaways are at the operator’s risk.

Save multiple games and switch between them

Premium, Gold, and Platinum support unlimited saved campaigns; Basic supports one. Prepare a welcome wheel, a dining-perk wheel, a trivia wheel, and an event giveaway as separate campaigns. Your team can select the saved campaign for the next activity instead of starting again each time.

Premium and higher also support your own logo and campaign import/export for additional devices. Platinum adds custom prize images and icons, custom arrow images, and the full-screen wheel view. Compare editions to match the setup to your plans.

Start with one promotion, then build your collection

Choose a location, define the guest experience, prepare the rewards or game prompts, and test the wheel with the staff who will host it. Have the appropriate venue team review participation, prize terms, and applicable requirements before launching, especially for cash prizes or gaming-related rewards.
